REVIEW
These sets are a wonderful way to meet new authors. I am not familiar with any of these four authors. But I intend to go check out what other works they have after reading this set. I loved the idea behind these stories that each of them include a lumberjack. Each of these stories are heartwarming and sweet. I absolutely loved them. It was so easy to sit and read through them. From Maine to Michigan to Wisconsin and finishing off in Idaho. I would have loved each of these stories to be longer but I didnt mind them being short and sweet. But.. if a full book was wrote around these stories I would jump at the chance to read them.  The historical aspects were so interesting. I enjoyed the different settings for each story and reading the day to day lives for these lumberjacks and ladies. All together Id give it a 5 stars. I loved it!
*I received a copy through netgalley for my pleasure reading and reviewing if I choose to do so.*

Wicked Waves Series by Erin O'Kane & Loxley Savage

FROM BOOK 1:

Growing up beneath the firm grasp of the evil Kraken Queen is all Lyn has ever known. Under her harsh gaze, Lyn’s every move is watched and scrutinized, waiting for her to make a mistake. Should she place even a fin out of line, she will suffer the wrath of the Kraken’s Kiss.
Unable to endure the Queen’s envious stare any longer, Lyn escapes with the help of her only friend.
In her plight for freedom she flees to the one place she feels safe, her island. Unbeknownst to Lyn, two strangers await her there, determined to change her fate.

Meanwhile, a war between the underwater kingdoms escalates as the opposing princes continue to search for their missing mate.

Will Lyn find her freedom away from the tentacles of the Kraken Queen? Or will she forever be ensnared in the constant shifting of the twisted tides?

*Twisted Tides is the first book in the Wicked Waves Series. This is a medium burn, fantasy, reverse harem romance. This book is for adult audiences only. There will be an HEA at the conclusion of the series.*

A Reverse Harem Fantasy Romance.

The Wicked Waves series.

Oh how I abso-fucking-lutely loved these books!

The mermaid thing is what drew me to read these. I am an occasional fantasy reader. And WOW! So it is a 2 book series and after reading the first book I had to go right into the second. The story just pulled me in and had me mesmerized. All the characters... The whole story line.. It all came together into a interesting, steamy, mind blowing story.

I really don't have anything bad to say about this book. There are some parts I wished was touched on more but it in no way took away from the story. I am really interested to see what other books the authors have seeing I am not familiar with their books.

GOODREADS

One click books

Browsing Amazon. My trusty book dealer that does me no wrong.

I am always drawn to certain books. Highlander romance and mail order brides. Now I'd love to sit here and say I don't have a problem, but I'll admit it. I click those bad boys as fast as my mouse will allow me to. LOL

I was trying to find a good way to organize my kindle shelf and I have yet to find any answers. I have more than 5000 books sitting... waiting on me... begging to be read.  I would love to come up with a solution but it seems that won't happen anytime soon. I wish amazon had a setting to put books automatically into their categories or something. I get in moods and know what I want to read but struggle to look through my shelf to find a book like that.

The Beast of Aros Castle by Heather McCollum 4 Star review

    The Beast of Aros Castle
(Highland Isles #1)
by
Heather McCollum

The Story of Tor and Ava. This was a sweet story and slightly predictable.

Ava's lie is to save herself and her friend. A plan if formed and one shall marry the "beast" highlander. I must say he was not what I was expecting. I thoroughly enjoyed the character Tor. From the first time the ladies met him I was cheering them on hoping their plan would work out.

Tor and Ava both have issues from their past. Reading through I was happy and sad at times for the way their relationship went and really hoping for the point they overcome their pasts. I love a book when I can feel along with the characters. This was one of them. I am excited this is a series and hoping to revisit some characters later on when I continue into the next book (or books).
