Hi. I am a small town girl from Illinois. I am a stay at home mom to 2 and a housewife to a wonderful husband. TI have been homeschooling my kids, that has been an interesting learning experience. Sometimes getting time to read can be difficult.
My book blog goal is to connect readers to new authors and books. I am an avid reader and I love finding those gems that are lesser known. Being Homemaker I am on a budget and can't always spend what I want to to read. I love finding deals and freebies. I hope to be able to share a lot of deals for others who are in the same situation as I am and can't afford a big book budget.
Among my favorites are highlanders, cowboys and mail order brides. I get drawn into historicals and being in different times. I also really enjoy dark and twisted romances.
I love reviewing books. My reviews always will go on Goodreads and my blog. I have forever been unable to review on Amazon. Sometimes I feel alot of reviews are not as unbiased as I would hope searching for books. I aim to make sure my reviews are completely honest and unbiased.
5 star: The book was mesmerizing. It was a straight through read that I could not put down. I will tell anyone that will listen they need to read this book.
4 star: Great book. highly recommend. It didn't completely engage with all my emotions, just some.
3 star: Completely neutral. I didn't absolutely love the book and I didn't completely hate it either. Maybe had some errors throughout or flow issues.
2 star: An ok book. I honestly did not like the book and would not recommend.
1 star: I didn't enjoy the book and would not recommend this book. It might have been book I could not finish and will not plan to in the future.
